The ELISpoon XL Stabilising Soup Spoon is a mechanically stabilised eating aid designed for individuals with limited hand and arm control. It is suitable for people living with conditions such as cerebral palsy, spinal cord injury, post stroke deficits or other neurological disorders that affect coordination.
The spoon incorporates a counterweight and rotational axis system that allows the spoon bowl to remain level, even when the handle tilts, twists or moves involuntarily. This self levelling mechanism helps reduce food spillage caused by tremors, muscle weakness or restricted movement.
