Request a Quote
Add what you need to your quote list and send it to us. We price it and aim to have a formal, itemised quote back to you within one business day. The form is a quote request, not the quote itself.
How to request a quote
No account needed. Nothing is charged, and you are not committing to anything.
Add to Quote on the product page
Choose the size or options first, then select Add to Quote. Add as many products as you need.
Open your quote list
Select the quote list icon at the top right to check what is in it, then select My Quote Cart.
Send the request
Adjust quantities, add your contact details, and tell us whether the equipment is for you or for someone else.
Before you send it
- Requesting for a client, a child or someone you support? Choose “For someone else” so the quote is made out to the right person.
- Cannot find the product? Email support@doability.com.au with the brand and model, a link, a photo, or the script form from your therapist. We will price it.
- Needs configuring? Tell us the person’s height and weight, and the space it is going into. We will quote the right size, the accessories and any installation.
Common questions
Is a quote free, and am I committing to anything?
Quotes are free and there is no obligation to buy. Nothing is charged when you send the request, and nothing is charged when we send the quote.
Quotes are itemised line by line so a plan manager, the NDIA or a funder can see exactly what they are paying for. Every quote carries an expiry date.
How long does it take, and how long does the quote last?
We aim to send your quote within one business day. If we need to go back to a supplier for a price on something we do not stock, it can take longer, and we will let you know.
Quotes are valid for two months, or as shown on the quote itself. If yours has expired, send it back to us and we will reissue it at current prices.
Who should the quote be made out to?
Tell us at the request stage. A quote can be made out to the participant, a parent or carer, a plan manager, a support coordinator, an aged care provider, or an insurer.
Getting the payer right up front saves reissuing it later, and an incorrectly addressed quote often stalls at the funding stage. If you are not sure, put the participant’s name on it and tell us who will be paying.
Can you quote something that is not on the website?
Yes. Our website is a fraction of what we can supply. Send the brand and model, a link, a photo, or the script form from your therapist to support@doability.com.au.
We also quote custom configurations, accessory combinations, replacement parts, delivery and installation. If you are not sure what to ask for, ring us on 1300 122 355 and describe the person, the room and the routine. That is usually faster than guessing.
Do I need advice from a therapist before I ask for a quote?
No. A quote costs nothing and requires no paperwork, so you can request one at any point.
Whether your funder will pay is a separate question. For everyday aids, usually no advice is needed. For higher cost equipment, or anything with a safety consideration, the NDIS generally expects written advice from an allied health practitioner or an assistive technology adviser. Your therapist or plan manager will tell you which applies.
You can also arrange a trial before anything is prescribed, or visit the showroom in Maribyrnong.
What happens when I accept the quote?
You accept the quote online. We turn it into an order and send the tax invoice. Payment comes before dispatch, and who pays depends on how your plan is managed.
Need something changed first? Reply to us before you accept. Adding an item, swapping a size or changing the payer is straightforward at the quote stage and more work once it is an order.
