Karma VIP 2 Tilt & Recline Wheelchair
The Karma VIP 2 is a folding rehabilitation wheelchair for users who need supported positioning and assisted pressure redistribution. It is available with 36 cm rear wheels for attendant use or 51 cm rear wheels with handrims for user propulsion. All configurations support users weighing up to 115 kg.
Tilt and recline
Tilt-in-space moves the seat and backrest together while maintaining the seated angle. Recline opens the angle between the seat and backrest, providing another way to rest, reposition and redistribute pressure.
Anti-sliding recline
The recline pivot sits closer to the user's hips so the body and backrest move together. This helps reduce the sliding and shear commonly caused by conventional reclining mechanisms.
Positioning support
Adjustable straps shape the backrest around the user's trunk, while the curved headrest and height-adjustable armrests support a more individual seating position.
