MedAlert Lite
The MedAlert Lite is a wrist-worn personal alarm with an SOS button, automatic fall detection and GPS location sharing. Activating the SOS button calls up to three nominated emergency contacts in sequence, while the built-in speaker and microphone allow the wearer to speak directly through the watch.

SIM Card and Ongoing Costs
A Telstra SIM is included with the first 12 months of voice and data service. The watch uses its own 4G connection for calls, alerts and location sharing, so the wearer does not need to carry a smartphone or arrange a separate Telstra plan.
A family member or carer uses the MedAlert mobile app to configure emergency contacts, manage settings and view the watch's location. Account setup and emergency contact configuration must be completed before use, with assistance available directly from MedAlert.
After the included 12 months, the SIM service currently costs $75 per year to renew through MedAlert. An active plan is required to maintain the connected services. SIM activation, subscription payments and renewals are managed through MedAlert, not DoAbility. Renewal pricing may change.
Optional 24/7 Emergency Monitoring
The standard setup alerts nominated family members or carers. Professional monitoring is not included. MedAlert offers a separate 24/7 Emergency Response Centre subscription, currently $345 per year in addition to the SIM service. This must be arranged and activated directly with MedAlert.
Important Information
Connected functions require an active SIM service, sufficient battery charge and Telstra 4G coverage. Test the device in the locations where it will be used. Fall detection may not detect every fall, and GPS location may be limited indoors.
DoAbility does not monitor alerts or provide emergency response.
