NRS Atlas Advance Turning and Transfer Aid
The Atlas Advance is the next generation of moving and handling equipment from NRS Healthcare, designed around the comfort, safety and ergonomics of both the carer and the user. Its unique four-bar system gives a broad range of grip heights, so people of different heights can pull themselves up to standing without straining or overreaching.
The low-height, non-slip platform allows easy access, and contoured padded knee pads adjust for height and width to suit the user. A toilet-access cutout, central wheel lock and four castors with plastic bumpers make it manoeuvrable and practical for indoor transfers.
Who is this for?
The Atlas Advance is designed for indoor use to support transfers when rising from or lowering into a seated position. It suits users who can grasp the handles, follow instructions, have the core strength to stand, and can support their own weight and hold balance for a prolonged period. The carer acts as a counterbalance during use. An optional Atlas Advance Transfer Safety Belt (available in 3 sizes) adds standing support and grab handles.
