Oxford Comfort Access Padded Sling with Head Support
The Oxford Comfort Access Padded Sling with head support is designed specifically to make toileting easier, allowing good access to clothing during transfers. It is fully padded with integrated head support for added comfort, and an adjustable body belt adds support and security.
It is used with a 4-point positioning cradle, and the patented Securi3 clip system helps guard against inadvertent detachment. A non-slip back section stops the sling riding up, positioning handles assist with repositioning, and the sling can be customised to suit patient-specific needs.
Who is this for?
This is a specialised toileting sling, not a general-purpose sling, and the manufacturer notes it will suit only around 25% of clients. It is best chosen through clinical or occupational therapy assessment to confirm it is appropriate for the user, and it must be used with a compatible 4-point positioning cradle.
