QUICKIE Q50 R Carbon Folding Power Wheelchair
The QUICKIE Q50 R Carbon is a lightweight powerchair with a carbon fibre frame, removable battery and compact fold for transport, travel and storage.
Lifting and Loading
The chair weighs 14.5 kg with the battery removed, while the battery weighs 1.4 kg and can be carried separately. This makes lifting and loading more manageable while still supporting users up to 136 kg.
Folding and Storage
Lift the rear clip, fold the footplate and lower the backrest to fold the chair to 37 × 57 × 76.7 cm. The battery can remain fitted, and the transport strap holds the chair closed while lifting or storing it.
Battery and Range
The 10 Ah lithium-ion battery provides up to 12 km of range, with an optional second battery increasing this to 24 km. It can be removed for separate charging, or the chair can be charged while folded. The battery is listed by the manufacturer for air transport, although airline requirements should be confirmed before travelling.
