The Skil-Care Econo Alarm is a patient safety alarm that alerts caregivers when a person starts to leave their chair. A cord clips to the resident's clothing, and when they move far enough to pull the magnet free, the alarm sounds, giving caregivers time to respond.
It uses multi-directional magnetic activation, so it works whichever way the person shifts. The unit secures to the wheelchair with an easy hook and loop strap that fits most chairs, and it comes with a 9-volt battery so it is ready to use.
