STERLING S50
The STERLING S50 is a lightweight, one-piece folding mobility scooter. Made from a 100% carbon fibre frame, it allows for easy transport and everyday independence.
It folds in two steps: fold the seat, lower the steering column, and lock it flat.
It weighs just 13 kg in its lightest transport configuration, for lifting and loading the S50 into the car more manageable. Built-in lifting points help make loading the scooter easier and safer. It can also be rolled along its anti-tip wheels like luggage.
The S50 is designed for everyday driving, despite its portability. It offers up to 19.2 km of range, has a maximum speed of 6kph, and supports users weighing up to 120 kg. Its Turn Assist feature gently adjusts speed as you steer, providing greater control through corners, while bright front and rear LEDs help you see and be seen.
A large, flat, foot platform provides room for feed and legs -- particularly for taller users. The steering column is adjustable to match the users seating position, while the padded seat and curved backrest provide comfort.
It's simple to operate: simple key-fob activation, large buttons, and the drive lever lets you operate the scooter using either your thumb or fingers.
The removable 1.9 kg lithium-ion battery can be charged separately and is UN38.3 tested for air transport, although individual airline requirements should always be confirmed before travelling.
